Any expression containing the word “diet” has, for many people, a negative connotation. It is heavily related with “weighting loss” and suggests a temporary scenery: Just the required to reduce a certain weight. It is also a synonym of sacrifice and suffering, as well as the ban of consuming very delicious types of food.

This sort of “classic” diets make people feel sad, miserable and very frequently leads to depression.

The Omega-3 Diet is completely different. But

What is the Omega 3 Diet?

The Omega 3 Diet is a permanent a varied diet in which there is a high percentage of foods containing omega 3 fatty acids, or what is popular known “fish oil“. Some countries as Japan has a culture oriented to this type of nutrition.  In the Seven Countries Study, conducted by Dr. Ancel Keys, Japan was the country with less Coronary Heart Disease Mortality.

Japanese diet is very rich in fish oil. Very rich in omega 3 fatty acid but not well balanced. Some others components have two be added.
